Excitement

I highly doubt that most people would agree with me when I say that Moray Eels are very cute, but when I look at this picture, I see just the happiest and most excited animal I've ever seen! This green moray is just very excited that you are looking at his picture right now. He really enjoyed posing for me, as I took his photo in the Socorro Islands. As an interesting fact, moray eels have 2 sets of jaws! One to bite down, and a second one to pull the prey further inside the mouth. Similar to the monster from Alien. But this moray wouldn't do that to you. Morays have been shown to be friendly with divers, and to remember them over time. Just don't stick your hand in his mouth...
