Turtle

For the past several years, I have been working to get photos of turtles with almost no success. What photos I did take were out of focus, or improperly lit. Every chance I had, wasted with a stupid mistake on my part - a strobe had been turned off, the flash knob turned off, or I was too far away. The one time that I didn't take my camera in over 100 dives, I had a turtle float slowly by my face with a gorgeous blue background behind it. Finally, during turtle mating season, in West Palm Beach, FL, working through damaged computers and a broken strobe, I finally had a chance to get face to face with these giant sea turtles. My boat captain knew what I had been searching for and helped me find many of the amazing loggerhead turtles.
